- 2.5 oz lean ground turkey, 93/7
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp onion, diced
- 1/2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup zucchini, diced
- 1/3 cup carrot, diced
- 1/2 cup butternut squash, diced
- 2 Tbsp low-sodium beef broth
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/8 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/8 tsp oregano, dried
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a small skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the brisket and ground turkey, then transfer to a small slow cooker (or continue to cook in the skillet if using a stovetop method).
- In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, bell pepper, zucchini, and carrot until softened. Add them to the slow cooker (or skillet).
- Add the diced butternut squash, beef broth, and spices to the slow cooker or skillet. Stir to combine.
